When you type an input string, the library parses the character payload, determines the optimal QR version (from Version 1 with 21x21 modules up to Version 40), and encodes the data into a binary stream using alphanumeric, byte, or numeric encoding modes.

The engine then applies Reed-Solomon error correction polynomials to generate parity codewords, ensuring data survivability against physical damage or optical distortion. The final module arrangement—including finder patterns, timing sync lines, and alignment markers—is mapped onto an offscreen HTML5 <canvas> element and exported as a high-density PNG bitmap. Unlike commercial QR generators that intercept your links with tracking redirects that break after a trial period, our client-side matrix encodes your exact target string directly into the pixels. Your files and inputs are never sent to our servers, and all canvas memory is flushed immediately when you close the tab.
